I attended the Glow all night art event in Santa Monica. What I found out was there were too many people in one place at one time. The crowds were horrible. A sea of people forced their way down the ramp and steep bluff to Santa Monica Pier and then only had a couple ways back out. The parking lot was full, yet when I left after midnight, people were still queuing to drive into the park. To view any of the glowing art installations was a long and miserable trek. People gawked and obstructed the view. All in all, I'm glad I satisfied my curiosity, but it was not fun enough for the effort I made to journey to it and try to escape it.
Still, mine is only one opinion. When I looked at photos taken of the event, it sure looked like it was a lot of fun. Most people thought it was a good first try. They thought it was a little hockey and needed some improvement, but they enjoyed it for the most part. You can read other people's experiences and view more photos, here or here.
