

Is Not Magazine is an experimental Australian magazine which puts stories and illustrations where you'd normally find advertisements. It is a huge, one page newspaper which is posted all over Australia. It has been throwing parties and other fundraising events for 3 years so they don't have to put advertisers before content.
Unfortunately, they are now out of business as of June 30, 2008. I guess the experiment is over. It was a good run. Hopefully, we'll see more of these fun publishing experiments to replace it. You can still read some of their peculiar and fun articles online at this link.
